The special appeal to raise £1.5million has been completed successfully. This means that work is now underway on a new chemotherapy treatment and research unit at the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. It will provide modern and comfortable conditions for patients and will enable more people to take part in trials of the very latest cancer treatments available.

We now have to concentrate on raising the more than £300,000 required every year to sustain the world class research undertaken at Mount Vernon.
