Cancer Treatment and Research Trust (CTRT) plays a key role in raising funds for the world-class cancer research undertaken by consultants at the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, Northwood, Middlesex. The CTRT's mission is to enable Mount Vernon consultants to continue with vital research and their quest for new life-saving cancer treatments. Following on from the success of last year we are pleased to announce the Do it For Charity Text Santa Run 2015!
Over 4,000 people are expected to take part raising funds for hundreds of different charities and now this is your chance to join us.
Victoria Park - 5km and 10km routes available!
No previous experience is required for this event and with a bit of training the 5km or 10km distances should easily be within your capabilities. The spirit of the event is 'taking part' not 'winning' so you can run, jog or walk - you decide!

The Little Shop on the Green has now finished its fundraising for the CTRT the amount raised including sales of CTRT Christmas cards totalled £4445.20 we would like to thank all of the people who were involved in raising this money for us THANK YOU!
The Theatre Night which took place onThursday 11th September 2014 - was a great success thanks to Dave and Gill Stuart. The event raised a total of £1827.00! Many thanks to them for their great efforts on behalf of the CTRT.
The Cancer Treatment and Research Trust are pleased to announce their new recycling partnership with industry experts Rethink Europe.
We can now recycle the following:
Used and unused printer cartridges, Mobile phones, Laptops, Hand held game consoles, Digital cameras, iPods, Sat navs.
The service is completely free and couldn't be easier!
You can arrange a free collection when you have 10 items or more. Simply call 08451 30 20 10 and the Recycling Appeal will do the rest.
Make sure you mention the Cancer Treatment Research Trust to ensure the value of your collection is credited to our account.
You can also send smaller items in an envelope and send them to us free of charge. Simply print off the freepost label below. This is a great opportunity to help us raise even more money as well as helping theenvironment. We hope you'll join us in making it a huge success.
